Shadda is made by one person, so support is an email address rather than a help desk. Most of what goes wrong is on this page. If it is not, write and say so.
Getting in touch
privacy@shadda.app. Replies come from a personal address, because that one forwards and cannot send.
Two things make a problem far easier to find:
- The five-character table code, if it happened at a table. It is shown at the top of the lobby and in the invitation.
- The ID under Settings → About → This device. There are no accounts, so that ID is the only way to tell which player is which.
Starting and joining a table
- A code does not work. Codes are five characters and are not case-sensitive. A table that has been closed, or that nobody has touched for a long time, is deleted — the code stops working with it, and there is no way to bring it back.
- The link opens the website instead of the app. That is the intended fallback, and it works: the web client is the same game. Links open the app directly only on a phone where the app was installed after the feature was switched on.
- You are short a player. Start anyway. Empty seats are filled with bots, and a person joining later takes over a bot's seat where it stands.
- "You can't join this table." Someone at that table has blocked you, or you have blocked them. Blocks are under Settings.
During a game
- You lost signal, or closed the app. Your seat is kept and a bot plays your hand until you return. Open the app again and you go back to the same seat.
- Somebody left and has not come back. The table can be held rather than abandoned, and the rest of you can carry on with a bot in their seat. They keep the seat if they return.
- The game stopped mid-hand. The server holds the table, not your phone, so closing and reopening the app is the right first thing to try. A hand can still be lost to a server restart; that is stated plainly in the terms and is not a bug you need to report.
- A rule looks wrong. These games are played differently in different places. Write with the table code and what you expected — the rules the server applies are fixed, and if they are wrong they are wrong for everyone.
Someone at the table
There is no chat. The only thing anyone can freely write is their own name, and reactions come from a fixed set.
- To report someone, hold their seat and choose Report, then pick a reason. A person reads it. There is no automatic penalty, and no reply — a report is not a support ticket.
- To block someone, hold their seat and choose Block. The current game finishes as normal; after that you will not be seated together again. Their name is hidden from you meanwhile.
- To undo a block, open Settings → Blocked players and tap Unblock.
Your name, avatar, and language
All are under Settings and changeable at any time. There is no account. Your name and avatar are copied to Shadda's server for tables and game history; language and other preferences stay on the device. Arabic and English are both complete, including right-to-left layout and Arabic numerals, and the app follows the phone's language until you tell it otherwise.
A name that is abusive, obscene, or pretending to be someone else may be refused or reset; the standard is in the terms.
Your data
There is no account to delete. Uninstalling the app discards access to your anonymous identity permanently, but completed-match history remains on the server until you request deletion. Make that request from Settings before uninstalling, because the identity cannot be recovered afterwards — not by us either.
To have anything still held on the server erased, use Request my data be deleted under Settings → About, which opens mail with the ID already filled in. What is stored in the first place is listed on the privacy page.
Things Shadda does not do
- No accounts, no passwords, no email address required.
- Nothing to buy, no subscription, no advertising.
- No push notifications yet. Your phone buzzes when it is your turn, while the app is open.
- Android is not released yet.

كيف بتتواصل
privacy@shadda.app. الردّ بيجي من عنوان شخصي، لأنه هالعنوان بيحوّل الرسائل وما بيبعت.
في شغلتين بيسهّلوا كتير لقاء المشكلة:
- رمز الطاولة (خمس خانات)، إذا صارت المشكلة عالطاولة. بيبيّن فوق باللوبي وبالدعوة.
- الرقم يلي تحت الإعدادات ← حول ← هذا الجهاز. ما في حسابات، فهالرقم هوّي الطريقة الوحيدة نعرف مين مين.
فتح طاولة والدخول عليها
- الرمز ما بيشتغل. الرمز خمس خانات وما بيفرق كبير أو صغير. والطاولة يلي انسكّرت، أو يلي ما حدا قربلها من زمان، بتنمسح — وبيروح الرمز معها، وما في طريقة نرجّعها.
- الرابط بيفتح الموقع مش التطبيق. هيك المفروض يصير، وبيشتغل: نسخة الويب هيّي نفس اللعبة. الرابط بيفتح التطبيق مباشرة بس عالتلفونات يلي نزّلت التطبيق بعد ما انفتحت هالميزة.
- ناقصكم لاعب. ابدا عادي. المحلّات الفاضية بتنملي ببوتات، وأي حدا بيدخل بعدين بياخد محل بوت من وين ما وصل.
- «ما فيك تدخل عهالطاولة». يعني حدا عالطاولة حاظرك، أو إنت حاظره. الحظر موجود بالإعدادات.
أثناء اللعب
- انقطع النت، أو سكّرت التطبيق. محلّك بيضل محفوظ وفي بوت بيلعب مكانك لَحدّ ما ترجع. افتح التطبيق وبترجع لنفس المحل.
- حدا طلع وما رجع. فيكم تعلّقوا الطاولة بدل ما تتركوها، وتكمّلوا وفي بوت بمحلّه. وبيضل محلّه محجوز إذا رجع.
- اللعبة وقفت بنص اليد. الطاولة محفوظة عالسيرفر مش عالتلفون، فأول شي جرّبه هوّي تسكّر التطبيق وتفتحه. وبتضل اليد ممكن تروح مع إعادة تشغيل السيرفر؛ هالشي مكتوب بصراحة بـالشروط ومش عطل لازم تبلّغ عنه.
- في قانون شكله غلط. هاللعبات بتنلعب بطرق مختلفة من بلد لبلد. ابعتلنا رمز الطاولة وشو كنت متوقّع — القوانين يلي بيطبّقها السيرفر ثابتة، وإذا كانت غلط فهي غلط عالكل.
حدا عالطاولة
ما في دردشة. الشي الوحيد يلي بيكتبه أي حدا بحرّيته هوّي اسمه، والتفاعلات من مجموعة ثابتة.
- للتبليغ عن حدا، اضغط مطوّلًا على محلّه واختار إبلاغ، وبعدين اختار السبب. في شخص بيقرا البلاغ. ما في عقوبة تلقائية ولا ردّ — البلاغ مش طلب مساعدة.
- لحظر حدا، اضغط مطوّلًا على محلّه واختار حظر. اللعبة الحالية بتخلص عادي، وبعدها ما رح تنحطوا سوا على طاولة. واسمه بينخبّى عنك من هلق.
- لإلغاء الحظر، افتح الإعدادات ← اللاعبين المحظورين واضغط إلغاء الحظر.
اسمك وصورتك ولغتك
كلها بالإعدادات، وكلها بتتغيّر بأي وقت، وكلها محفوظة عالجهاز مش بحساب. العربي والإنجليزي الاتنين كاملين، بما فيهن الاتجاه من اليمين لليسار والأرقام العربية، والتطبيق بيمشي على لغة التلفون لَحدّ ما تغيّرها.
الاسم المسيء أو البذيء أو يلي بينتحل شخصية حدا ممكن ينرفض أو ينمسح؛ المعيار موجود بـالشروط.
معلوماتك
ما في حساب لَتمسحه. إذا شلت التطبيق بتروح هويتك للأبد، وما فينا نرجّعها — ولا نحنا كمان.
إذا بدك تمسح أي شي لسا محفوظ عالسيرفر، استعمل اطلب مسح معلوماتي تحت الإعدادات ← حول، وبيفتحلك الإيميل والرقم مكتوب فيه. وشو بينحفظ أصلًا موجود بـصفحة الخصوصية.
أشياء شدّة ما بتعملها
- ما في حسابات ولا كلمات سر ولا إيميل مطلوب.
- ما في شي بينشترى ولا اشتراك ولا إعلانات.
- ما في إشعارات لَهلق. التلفون بيهتزّ لما يجي دورك، طول ما التطبيق مفتوح.
